◎简　　介
　　弗兰基作为北爱尔兰共和军的特使前来纽约，他的使命是购买毒刺式导弹，以期改变与英军的力量对比。他通过内线被安排在警察汤姆家中膳宿，并与汤姆一家人相处得很好。但汤姆并不知道弗兰基的真实身份。弗兰基与另一名共和军成员肖恩策划用渔船将导弹运往大洋彼岸。夜总会老板是买卖双方的牵线人，货款由来自贝尔法斯特的梅根转交，弗兰基暂时将钱藏在汤姆家中。军火商急于拿到钱，派人闯入汤姆家中。闯入者被赶走后，弗兰基坦白了此行目的。忠于职守的汤姆要拘捕弗兰基，并拒绝与美英的情报部门合作只身追赶弗兰基。最后两人都被对方击伤，伤势更重的弗兰基死在汤姆怀中。
