　　周创发（林盛斌 饰）和妻子屈金香（麦玲玲 饰）是从小玩到大的青梅竹马，两人的感情从懵懂无知的友谊迈向浪漫纯洁的爱情，最终携手步入了婚姻的殿堂。一眨眼十年过去，曾经的青涩和激情早已经被生活的坚信磨为了平淡，有的时候，周创发甚至会产生怀疑，自己十年前所做出的，是否是正确的选择。
　　一直以来，周创发都在岳父屈亲仁（黄光亮 饰）所经营的面馆里工作，平日里少不了被后者呼来喝去，受了不少的气，再加上一个咄咄逼人的强势岳母李露媚（吴浣仪 饰），周创发的日子实在是不好过。一次偶然中，周创发邂逅了梦中情人丝丝（唐诗咏 饰），不仅如此，他还中了价值两千万的彩票，一直都倒霉磕冲的周创发，该怎样面对他的时来运转呢？
