　　米盖尔（Algenis Perez Soto 饰）从小就希望成为一名棒球投手，十六岁那年，他正式走上了职业的道路，并用天赋和努力证明了自己的实力。三年过去，十九岁的米盖尔被球探相中，跟随很多和他一样初出茅庐的运动员一起前往亚利桑那州参加集训，一个新的世界就此在他眼前展开。
　　在训练营里，米盖尔开始明白自己并不是唯一一个拥有运动天赋的选手，因此他开始了加倍的努力。功夫不负有心人，最终，他获得了爱荷华州布里奇顿棒球队的合同书。在棒球队里，巨大的压力和复杂的人际关系让米盖尔逐渐迷失了方向，好在有名为乔治（Rayniel Rufino 饰）的球员一直陪伴和鼓励着米盖尔，使得米盖尔逐渐找到了自己的坐标。
