　　一部针对学生观众，讲述高中足球教练以对上帝的信仰来影响球员的影片在议会却找到了观众，不是因为影片的宗教信息，而是因为影片的分级。议员罗伊·布伦特和很多律师听说电影《面对巨人》因为宗教内容而被定位PG级而非G级后感到十分不满，上书美国电影协会(MPAA)，要求讨个说法。

　　PG意味着建议影片由家长陪同观看，G则表示影片老少咸宜。罗伊·布伦特在信中质问美国电影协会为什么会因为影片有宗教内容而将其定为限制级，他甚至还拿出最近哈佛公共卫生学院刚做出的一份调查说MPAA对电影的性和暴力的管理能力越来越弱。言下之意，颇有责怪MPAA“该管的不管，不该管的瞎管”之意。MPAA官员并未回应罗伊·布伦特等议员及律师的质问，但是在回复给布伦特的信中，MPAA的克里克曼坚持影片如此定级决非仅是因为宗教内容，他表示影片中若有任何比较强烈涉及成熟的一些话题都有可能导致定级为PG级别，
