　　母亲吉尔是个还价高手，在每次的车库清货中总有不错的收获。她甚至将女儿未来婚礼的摆设都准备好了。但女儿谢丽尔对幼时母亲给她穿的二手皮鞋而被同学嘲笑依然无法释怀，迟迟不愿将结婚的好消息告诉母亲。从第三者口中得知此事的吉尔顿时感觉十分失望。谢丽尔打算自己操办婚事，她预订了理想的婚宴场所，但竟无法负担高昂的价格。母亲最终放弃了自己多年积攒的战利品，为女儿举办了一场完美婚礼。
