　　结束了长达十数年的盘桓，美丽女子萝拉（Elena Lyons 饰）返回阔别已久的家中。她的家位于路易斯安那州一处偏僻的沼泽地，父亲老皮靠经营景钓鱼场和船场为生。但是父亲似乎欠下银行许多债务，不久前又宣告失踪。萝拉的心情无比烦闷，不仅因为老爹的失踪和银行的存款，还有那看见就让她心烦的恶德前夫。似乎只有已经当上了警察的前男友提姆（Lochlyn Munro 饰）才给她些许的安慰。未过多久，与父亲一同失踪的女性尸体被人发现，但已经被撕成了碎块。提姆直觉判断沼泽地出现了一只凶猛残忍的巨型鳄鱼。
